An extended meeting of the Scientific and Technical Council was held at Alfraganus University. The meeting was organized under the agenda of the Vice-Rector for Scientific Work and Innovations, Mominjon Khodjaev, and the Department for Working with International Scientific Journals and Rankings. The university leadership, faculty deans, department heads, and responsible specialists participated. 

During the meeting, urgent tasks were discussed regarding increasing the university's scientific indicators on the Google Scholar, Scopus, and Web of Science platforms, increasing the number of articles in prestigious journals, expanding international cooperation, and entering the QS ranking.

Important proposals on international rankings, academic profiles, and working with scientific publications were presented by the head of the department, Nazirjon Rajabov, and the chief specialist, Otabek Mamatkhodjaev.
